8Dio – EverWave (KONTAKT)

After months of design and almost a year of development, our lutier (a master who makes string instruments) presented us with this magnificent masterpiece. EverWave is a unique instrument weighing more than 45 kg that required a lot of enthusiasm and preparation. It was created from scratch and then moved to our studio, where we installed microphones on all sides of it. The result is an amazing library that sounds absolutely unique.

EverWave was recorded using all sorts of techniques. Due to the complexity of the instrument, we decided to sample it until it broke, which, in fact, happened in the end.

Each note required almost 30 minutes of tuning, and at some point the pressure became so strong that the instrument broke! However, the result is absolute pleasure for the listener. You will feel that you are transported to other worlds, because this instrument will fit perfectly into both the epic composition and the soft atmosphere.

After recording, we created a huge number of multi-bike cycles. Over 40 GB of lossless compressed content to 18 GB characterizes the tool as a new era of sampling where we look for new sound boundaries.
