After we stripped away the best equipment, the most modern studios, the most expensive instruments, and even the best musicians, only the soul remained. This is exactly what we wanted to study: a human, urban, and unique product.
Misfit Toy Piano is a superb (2500 samples), accurate representation of the real thing. We recorded a vintage toy piano with many layers of velocity and circular algorithms.
A toy piano, also known as a children’s synthesizer, is a small musical instrument similar to a piano. Most modern toy pianos use round metal rods to create sound.
