The storm is the most exciting sight in nature, but to capture their power is the task is not from the lungs. Thunderstorm Chaser is the result of a six -year persecution of storms, thousands of kilometers and several deaths in pursuit of the real sound effects of storms ever recorded. From a deep, distant roar rolling over the plains, to the lightning of lightning, this library provides unsurpassed realism and spatial depth.
History of passion and risk
The record of the thunderstorm is not just complicated – it is dangerous. Matt Mikkelsen spent six years, tracking thunderstorms, consulting with meteorologists and installing the most modern recording equipment in extreme conditions. During one of the sessions, he was almost struck by the lightning, which was a terrible reminder of the enormous force that he fixed.
βThere were years when I returned with nothing. The storms are unpredictable. Sometimes they subside, sometimes they change the direction. And sometimes they come too close. ‘
– Matt Mikkelsen
Recorded in accordance with the highest requirements
Thunderstorm Chaser offers a real voluminous 3D sound, which makes it indispensable for sound designers working with films, video games, television, theaters, virtual reality and immersive media. If you do not need a volumetric sound, the STEREO version is also available.
Real, unprocessed and uncompromising
Many sound libraries offer artificially reinforced or enormous sounds of thunder. Thunderstorm Chaser is a 100 % natural sound recorded during the most powerful storms throughout the United States. These records captured a thunderstorm in its pure form, without embellishment after processing – only raw, high -and -dynamic power of nature.

β’ Explosive zippers
β’ Pouring rain, hail and howling wind complement the impression of the storm
β’ Natural dynamics without filters, which allows you to perfectly create layers of sound design
Compatible software
