A sample library for the Hauptwerk organ emulator.
In the city of Lens, located in the Netherlands, in the church of St. Peter, a new organ was built in 1734 by the organ builder Albertus Antonius Hins, a student of Arp Schnitger, who studied at the same time as Arp’s son Frans Caspar Schnitger. It had and still has 27 registers, divided into two manuals and a pedal. The installation of the instrument was completed in December 1734.
The sound of the instrument is noticeably different from other works by Hins, such as in Midwold or Harlingen. Therefore, in terms of sound, it is closer to the tradition of Arp Schnitger.
The organ is large enough for a small church. The richly decorated case, carvings and sculptures were made by masters Theodoor van der Haven and Caspar Struywig.
Installation
Merge volumes 2 and 3 into one folder, since they are divided into 2 parts, and then copy the contents of the three volumes to the root Hauptwerk folder, i.e.: Hauptwerk/HauptwerkSampleSetsAndComponents, and confirm the merge of the folders.
