The revival of analog sampling on magnetic tape. SampleTron 2 combines the powerful sound engine of IK’s award-winning SampleTank 4 with industry-leading tape modeling technology to recreate the signature ultra-vibrating sounds of tape samplers from the ’60s and ’70s, as well as the unusual early digital sample players and vocoders.
This massive collection combines deep sampling of vintage Mellotron® and Chamberlin tapes with a collection of new tape-processed acoustic “non-Tron” sounds. Users can now upload their own samples and create unique modern Tron sounds.
