Balinese Flutes, or suling, are solo whistle flutes playing in gamelan (traditional Indonesian orchestras) and other ensembles. They are usually made of bamboo and have six game holes. Flutes differ in size – from huge suling gambuh to tiny suling cantilan. There are four of them in this collection.
Using advanced phase matching techniques, we have created a dynamic and expressive tool that is simple and inspiring to play.
Choose individual flutes or play a single combined instrument. Three phase-matched dynamic layers allow the simulation of expressive respiration and vibrato. The micro-tuning module offers Balinese presets or Western scales.
