Installation
To install on a standalone Akai product (Force, MPC Live, MPC One or MPC X):
1. Select the drive where you want to install the content. Make sure that the drive has enough
free space to hold the entire pack. We recommend that you chose an internal SATA drive for
ease of use.
2. Connect the selected drive to your computer.
Note: Internal Force/MPC SATA drives can connect to your computer by putting your Force
into “computer mode” or your MPC into “controller mode.” See your product’s user guide for
more information on how to do this.
3. Create a folder in the root directory of the drive (not in any folder) called Expansions, if one
does not already exist.
4. Place the content folder (ie, the folder found beside this document) inside the Expansions
directory you created. Make sure you copy the folder itself, not the content within it.
5. Wait for the files to copy, and then safely eject the drive to ensure all data is written.
6. Insert the drive into your Force/MPC. Your expansion will appear in the file browser.
To install into desktop MPC Software, please obtain the separate desktop installer which will
simplify the installation process.
