FELT 54 is a felt piano with a deep character. This is not quite ordinary bright and harmoniously complex piano. Sampled with the felt piano Yamaha U3 of 1975, modified in such a way as to make the sound more pure, while maintaining harmonious wealth.
Between the hammer and strings, a felt strip 0.8 mm thick was added, and the timbre of the middle part of the piano was simplified by muffling two of three strings on the note. The tool is captured by three microphones, which made it possible to get a very deep stereo -assembly.
Felt 54 covers the range of 54 notes – the most pleasant range of this piano.
This library is ideal for an embedient and melancholy scores for films, as well as for Lowe Fi hip-hop with twisted tape module settings.
