All drums were recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London, UK using vintage equipment and recording techniques.

Drums
The Heart of Abbey Road: 60s Drums features two sought-after 60s drum kits: an early 60s Gretsch Round Badge White Marine Pearl set and a 1967 Ludwig Hollywood set. Each set comes with a choice of two 60s snares , and all the cymbals used are authentic 60s cymbals, including a 1963 rivet cymbal.
The drums were recorded in 30 layers at different speeds, with up to six alternate hits (round robins) for each drum. Learn more about drums and recording equipment.
