Evolution Flatwound Bass is a vintage electric p -style bass equipped with strings with a flat winding for a deep and saturated timbre.
We have developed a library in collaboration with Rosewood Recording Company, one of the most respected studios of the staff of Utah. Guy Randle, the owner and sound engineer of this company, used analog sound equipment to skillfully convey and emphasize the rich timbreal qualities of the tool, available in the form of the initial direct, as well as enhanced signals.
To record Samlov, Guy Randle attracted the experienced bassist Rob Hani. As a session musician, Rob participated in the records of a large number of CDs, soundtracks for films, television commercials and programs. He toured with the Donny & Marie group, and was also an Enoch Train bass player. Rob is also a skilled arranger and songwriter. He worked as a writer at the publishing company Riba Mcyntire Starstruck Writer’s Group. His songs were recorded by Diamond Rio, singer Faith Hill and many other artists. His song Norma Jean Riley has become a number one hit and a country-song of the year according to Radio & Record.
The Evolution Flatwound Bass is based on our Evolution engine, which provides you with a lot of capabilities: a flexible mapping system, tuning the parameters of timbre and playback, as well as a powerful set of effects.
