Oblique II is the second instrument in the Oblique series. It is a damaged, twisted, brutal, but incredibly expressive double bass. Like the cello in Oblique, this instrument is not intended to create soothing music – it is full of sharp edges and brute force.
Alberto Moreno Gier is the bassist who created the tormented, obscure sounds of Oblique II. His mastery of the double bass allowed us to convey a powerful sound with a wide dynamic range, perfect for psychological thrillers and creepy horror scenes.
