Starting life as a gorgeous FM synthesizer, it evolved into a full-fledged workstation through subsequent expansions. Its introduction to the professional studio inspired many of the world’s leading avant-garde artists and sonic visionaries to tap into its potential, including Frank Zappa, Chick Corea, Michael Jackson, Sting, Kraftwerk, Stevie Wonder and Depeche Mode, among others.

Once again inspired by the sounds of yesteryear, we at UVI set about creating our own “beast”. The result is a comprehensive software package consisting of 3 complementary digital instruments, each fully equipped with a wide range of cutting-edge original sounds as well as classic presets. We’ve used a proven combination of advanced programming and meticulous sampling, using the finest analog and digital hardware, to bring the beloved vintage character of this workstation to a new generation of musicians and sound explorers.
