This is an electronic vintage ensemble that was created by Wusik.com to recreate the world of soft synthesizers used in early pop, rock and jazz music of the 1960-70s.
During this creative period in music history, many musicians began to use the innovative sounds of “electric keyboards” that were again available for use on stage and in the studio: Rhodes electric pianos, Hammond and Vox organs, Hohner harpsichords, string machines such as the Arp Solina, Moog synthesizer, and all those that are currently considered “classics”. Delay lines, rotating cabinets, guitar distortion pedals, wah-wah, phasers and other effects have become an integral part of the sound design process.
EVE uses these vintage sounds and this early approach to “electronic” music production as a starting point, bringing this philosophy and sound into a modern virtual environment with an intuitive and powerful interface.
The basis of EVE’s approach to sound design is a basic structure of a 3-layer sample player, 2 multi-effects racks and a library of multi-sampled electronic keyboards.
