Following the release of Gentle Winds and Gentle Strings, we worked with outstanding British brass players who are an integral part of the traditional brass scene in the North of England. These players were captured in the act of playing in a very soft manner, creating a warm and gentle atmosphere. Each instrument – euphonium, tenor horn, flugelhorn, cornet and soprano cornet – was recorded separately and then combined into one seamless pattern.
This library was recorded in the large hall of The Nave and offers three microphone positions. Like previous libraries in our Gentle series, it contains an atmospheric layer – a processed version of raw samples that expands the capabilities of the instruments and makes them universal for various musical genres.
